...T-BALL! Look out, World! ^_^
Well, things are a-going. I've had two official Thank You notes at work, the girl behind me is switching desks...I no longer worry about anything there except getting my work done. It could all end on May 28th, but I can accept that. We'll just have to see how things go.
I might lose the babysitter to a mommy expecting triplets. That is definitely upsetting me. AND....she'll be gone BEFORE J-fest, not after. Even worse. I'll have to think about that tomorrow at Tara.
Actually, now would be an excellent time for Josh to get offered the job of his dreams, and for the Francis Howell School District to decide that they want me as a secretary, starting next fall. Please?
Can't make hamburger helper for dinner without hamburger. Where did THAT go?
Well. Gonna go get the kids so this exciting adventure can begin!!

Back again!
Hello! I was not on vacation or anything. My computer started to be terminally ill. Then, one day while I was at work, Josh replaced it without telling me. Seriously, folks, he does NOT DO surprises. And when he does, he does things like replace my computer without warning me to back anything up. It was sweet and awesome and I'm still attempting to recover files off the former computer.
Other things that happened lately:
Josh and I went out to sing karaoke with friends. It was my last chance to go out with Teresa before she moved. We had fun, and I had about 8 rounds of it. And some tequila rose from Felita. I am so bad a shots! Usually I decline, but the second time she asked, I said okay. And then she tried to give me a refill when my head was turned, and I ended up with tequila on my leg. So...did I embarrass myself? Um..yes. I was sick when I got home, too. The next day was our Mardi Gras party, and we melted some chocolate and dipped all kinds of fantastic things in it. Well, in the evening, Abbie started to throw up. Plus, she didn't make it to the bathroom. On Monday, I went to my taiko performance, but that night I started being sick, too. Even Josh got it. Grant, somehow, managed to not get it.
We also saw Brother for dinner when he was briefly in town. Yum! Olive Garden!
I was healthy for a week, and then came down with "allergies". That's what the guy at work said he had. He was wrong.
I am healthy once again, and the weather is crazy. We are having the earliest spring MO has seen in my lifetime. I think the bugs are going to be crazy this year.
Yesterday was St. Pat's. We had corned beef sandwiches for lunch at Poppy J's. Then we saw Miss Jenn! It was SO GREAT! And I got to meet Baby Ethan! They were on their way home from the lake, and stopped to feed the kids in Warrenton. We just missed a huge Thunderstorm, and I think Jenn did, too, since she was going east and it was coming from the west. At home, we watched The Secret of Roan Irish, because it's Irish. Then, BACON sandwiches for dinner. Hooray!
Grant lost his 7th tooth on St. Patrick's Day, too.
In all, we are fine. I will tell you all the work gossip later. I'm really just checkin in to say that I'm not dead! Happy end of the weekend to you!
